I think she'd love it, I'm sure it would make her feel special. Just ask if you can pop over for a minute with the kids to see her and take a picture if she isn't too busy. Let her know if she's behind schedule, no need for pictures. This way, she won't feel stressed (which I doubt she would anyway).

If she's like an older sister to your kids she'd love it. Ask if the kids can come see her off and then if there's a good moment ask for a picture. Low pressure. I think it's really sweet.
