You can have that "home" (a term I use very loosely). I'll keep me Capitol Hill row house, praising God that I'll never ever have to live out there.

+1 southeastern fairfax county has plenty of waterfront home and neighborhoods from just south of old town to mason neck, and the commute into DC is much easier.

I have multiple coworkers that commute from Kent Island. Maybe after my kids go off to college. I would love it. I love crabcakes and football. I love fishing and crabbing. I love quiet.
