Any cute pair of flats or wedges I think brighter colors are appropriate for spring/summer.

Do you think something like this would look ok with skinny jeans?

Those don't work with anything besides plowing the fields.

Really?
I actually already have those shoes. I think they are cute with a casual skirt.

I guess I just suck at fashion.

Don't listen to the haters! I have a friend who is very sporty and she wears shoes like these with casual skirts and fitted tees and they look very cute on her!

No they don't... you might think they do, but they don't.

They look waaaaaaay better than those flat espadrilles! What is wrong with you people?

Not the PP you quoted, but OP asked for stylish. Those are not stylish.

Don't people want to wear sandals and other open toed shoes in the spring/summer? I was shoe shopping at DSW today, and I just to don't understand the trend of ballet flats and sperries for the warmer weather. As soon as it hits the 60s temperature-wise, I'm all about sandals, flip-flops, maybe some sling-backs and peep-toes for work. Plus, I like a little bit of a heel. Can'tbstand all the totally flat shoes out there.

I go for ballet flats because I don't want my kids stomping my bare toes all summer. The stomping is bad enough with a leather cover over my feet!

+1
They may be comfy and I can see where some people could pull them off but they are not stylish.

I love sandals and open toed shoes, but my kids like to be at the playground in the spring and summer and I hate getting bark in my sandals.

Or, if you work in a co-op grocery store in Takoma Park.

So just don't criticize. Suggest something.

How about something with arch support? Flats and Toms don't work.

No you don't. I would wear them with a Prana dress, or shorts. They are cute.
