Do you love your public elementary school?

For 22:55, I have two kids -- one special needs and TAG-identified, and one who passed the early K test but is really the "academic middle." The non-TAG child get good grades but with hard work. She is getting a pretty good elementary education, but I have to work with her at home and I contact her teachers for advice if I see some inconsistent performance. In other words, you have to stay actively involved so that your child does not fall through the cracks in terms of attention. I think that is very doable at an elementary school in PG if you have a good principal and good, caring teachers.

Some other good public elementary schools in PG:

Tulip Grove
Whitehall
Kenilworth
Rockledge

Glenn Dale certainly seems to be flourishing under the new principal. Is it still overcrowded?

We've only been there for 2 years so I don't have much to compare it to. Classes are pretty large... 25/30 kids. But there's more than one teacher in the class (at least in my kids' class anyway).
