Every time I eat, I get bloated (also a bit TMI)

Not sure what country you are in OP, but it's a pretty simple blood test to rule out Celiac Disease. Before I was diagnosed, I felt bloated after eating, and had lots of embarrassing gas. A bowel movement always helped alleviate it. But it's a cumulative effect, so it was always hard to figure out what I ate right before I felt the bloat when in reality my body was just not digesting anything well due to the damage to the intestine from the gluten.

Increased satiety and bloating can be a symptom of ovarian cancer. How old are you? You see should a gyn.

OP here. Thanks all. Been away this weekend so was nice to see the additional suggestions. Have been to the GYN since having some of these symptoms but I'll make an appt anyways. Can't hurt to rule out other causes. And thanks to the PPs for that suggestion, it had not crossed my mind.

I spoke to a friend who has Celiac and she had to travel to the main city 2 hrs away to get tested. This was about a year ago, so hopefully things have changed. I've noticed some grocery stores are starting to have tiny sections of gluten-free food, so I suppose that is a good sign.

Otherwise I'll just call my PCP in the states and figure out how I should handle it until I'm back in a month.

So frustrating. I have a bridesmaid's dress to fit into in a month and I'm worried that this bloating is going to cause the zipper to pop after eating dinner!

Anyways, thanks all for the advice!

OP here. Also thank you to the PP with the parasite suggestion. I had a parasite about 10 years ago after visiting Peru. Symptoms were totally different with that one so the thought hadn't even crossed my mind. Will call my doctor here in the morning and see what they suggest.

Thank you

OP I have just been through exactly this months after returning to the US from living in Africa. I have been through every test on the planet and finally have discovered that I have a pretty viscous parasite. I am quite thin but have a constantly bloated stomach, my tummy feels like there is a washing machine in there after every meal and (tmi) I have loose stools and a lots of gas (lucky me and those around me).

YOu need to get tested for ova and parasites. It's an easy thing to rule out and - depending on where you live - a credible explanation for your symptoms.
