I've never had a Cadbury mini-egg. I looked for them in our CVS but there weren't any. Are they just like the regular size with the cream inside but smaller?

Those are probably my top favorites, but easter is by far my favorite holiday so I'm not overly picky about my candy. I love it all. Mostly.

Is it a holiday off from work in the U.S? Why is it your favorite holiday, what do you do that day...church and then?

Reece's eggs--the ratio of peanut butter:chocolate is perfect in egg form

Also, Russel Stover coconut nests, although they're not as good as they used to be.

Wow we could have been Easter Basket Buddies. I would give you all the yucko black jellybeans and malted things. We would have to fight over the Cadbury though.

Holiday in US? No, not an official one. It's always on Sunday, so generally I have the day off anyway. Lots of stores are closed so if you work in a service job you may or may not have it off depending on where you work and the nature of your job. Obviously hospitals, policemen, firemen etc are all business as usual.

Why my favorite holiday? Well, the candy for starters. I just really like it! I like that it's spring, the flowers are blooming, we are moving out of the short cold days of winter and into the longer, warmer days of summer. Trees are leafing out, and everyone feels good seeing the sun! The world smells great with all the flowers in bloom. And of course the religious significance which I think goes hand in hand with spring and new life.

What do I do? Relax, think about the meaning of the day. Make au gratin potatoes with the last of my Christmas ham. Pretty much the same things I do the rest of the year but with candy and potatoes, things I don't normally keep on hand.

Where can you find black jelly beans these days? The only black ones I ever find are "spiced" jelly beans.

I'm hooked on modern jelly beans -- Starburst jelly beans etc. -- while eating chocolate, a few handfuls to clean the palate.

PP, Rite-Aid and sometimes Harris Teeter has bags of Brach's all black jellybeans marked way down on Easter Monday!
