+1 My DH washed an dried a load and then realized there was a cashmere sweater in the pile. It was child sized but had a tag on it for an adult. It had shrunk so much...

I do wash cashmere in the machine, but I don't put it in the dryer. At least not on purpose.

Op soak it in oxy clean, and then use RIT dye remover.

I have effed up clothes like this before. Best bet is the oxy clean and RIT. GL
