Timeframe to make epidural decision during labor

You can get an epidural at any time during your labor. the only times you CANNOT get it is if you can not sit still for it or if the baby's head is crowing. support people can help. Natural childbirth is very difficult. you should contact Juliana Parker. She is an L&D nurse at Sibley and also provides services. She is very friendly and willing to speak with people about the labor process on the phone. I asked her the same question about labor and that was the answer she gave me. She also provides labor coaching services and from what I've heard is a fantastic labor support person (and, of course, she's a nurse). Her email is julianaparker@verizon.net. Good luck!!
