Any luck asking DCPS or individual schools about waitlist lengths and nonsib availability?

MV's waitlist isn't posted this way but I pasted the data in an Excel spreadsheet and found the following:

Grade, #waitlisted, #siblings at top of waitlist

PK3 408, 8
PK4 266, 5
K, 195, 3
1st, 76, 0
2nd, 46, 1
3rd, 26, 0
4th, 9, 0
5th, 5, 1

My guess is that the top charters have similar numbers. Last year I think many of the popular charters had waitlists in the 500s and up. I guess this shows some improvement (but not a lot) by the combined lottery screening students off waitlists if they got accepted at higher ranked schools.

This still isn't that useful without tracking numbers for individual students that can be compared across different school's waitlists.
