s/o why can't MCPS push back middle school and high school exams if school is extended?

Only if the entire County moves exams. Otherwise your kids have a distinct advantage over the rest of the County. More time to prepare and an opportunity to find out via social media what's on the test.

Well its moot now and he said this yesterday, but yes, he meant the county would move the exams.

AP exams can't change, they are not set by the county. They are set by College Board and are on the same day across the country.

The discussion was about high school exams which are the ones at the end of each course. My DC has taken 10 AP classes and even the AP classes have some semblance of a final exam at the end of the year although they can sometimes be project based or in class rather than during the official exam period.
