I have used day laborers many many times.
Only a couple of times have I had a somewhat negative experience. There is an element of luck to getting the right person for the job. But I have done everything from yard work to fence repairs, painting, plumbing including putting in sinks and faucets, moving furniture, etc. Most are very hardworking and do a good job. Sure there are those who are less than optimal but there are plenty of those even if one uses licensed contractors If you use DL just make sure you treat them fairly. |
