Reh-zuh but my DH is Iranian so I know quite a few
|
| Shahs of Sunset taught me it's #2. Prior to that, probably Rais-a. |
| Second one. It is a word in portuguese (maybe spanish too?) and it means "pray" (as in, religion). |
|
Just FYI--this man is an amazing photographer and put Reza on my short list of boy names because I admire his work so much:

| My guess would have been Ree-zuh before reading this thread. |
| this is my BIL's name -- pronounced "reZAH" |
|
I work with a Reza (a guy) and we pronounce it Ray-zah.
I actually really like this name for a girl. |
| Also Reeza. There was a restaurant that I used to got to a lot called Reza's and it was pronounced Reeza's. |
That's Raisa. As in Gorbachev. And Russian. Whereas Reza (however pronounced) is Persian. |
+1 |
| Reh-za. |
| I had a TA in college named Reza, pronounced Ray-zuh |
| Ray Zuh. Boy, Yes? |
| REE-zuh |
| I lived in Iran as a kid. Definitely Reh-zah |
