| To the parents asking about the Spanish Immersion program, my guess is because there are three different ones in the county each one would be different. I know a couple families going to the one at Cesar Chavez. It's a great space, really. Large playground with lots of trees, school garden, very small building so the school would always be capped at around 300 kids maximum. Small schools are much easier to organize. |
| For those that are giving up their Spanish immersion placement spots, what were your reasons? |
Just didn't work for me logistically. I entered the lottery before a location was chosen. I would have one kid in Upper Marlboro, one in Glenn Dale and the oldest in College Park. I'm responsible for pickup because my husband doesn't get off until 6:30. |
