Another Disney World question - going for one day

I think it depends on what you want to get out of it. You get 3 fastpasses. Any other rides will be at LEAST 30 minutes on that day. The popular stuff will be close to an hour or even over that. If you and your kids would be fine with spending the money and only riding 5 rides, two of which you have to wait for a long time to get into, then go for it. But more than that and I think you'll end up either rushing around trying to beat the system , or just waiting forever in line. My twins 5-year-old would probably consider riding 5 things, eating lots of ice cream and watching the parade and fireworks to be a fabulous day, but if your kids has a long list of things they want to ride, then go another time.

This is norm for non-spring break times. The crowd predictors rank spring break weeks as a crowd level 11. You will be at full capacity and waiting 1-2 hours for rides that may normally be 45 minutes, which I think is still too long.

I think if you download their app, you can even customize a plan for your family and use the app on the day of your visit to check wait times on the rides. If you only have one day I think it would be worth paying for this service in order to cut down on waiting in lines.

+1

They are going to charge around $12 for their plans, but it's worth it.

Go with touringplans.com

It may be true you will only ride maybe 6 (I say 3 FP + and 3ish in that opening hour or so) big rides, Touringplans is good to guide you to high capacity rides. New ride Carousel of Progress last year week before Easter since we had time and the times and crowds were long elsewhere. Touring plans knows the rides and will guide you to the right things that you will still have fun.

I meant "we".... There is no way carousel of progress is "new". Although it was new to us since we had not ridden it the prior two trips.)

OP here - thanks. Since my kids are so little they don't know much about what they want to do. They just know that Disney World exists but they have zero expectations.

I have great memories of going as a kid with my family and there was none of this craziness
