| I can think of two people who accepted jobs at 3 months and it caused much resentment with their new bosses. One relationship never recovered and the women left after a year with no chance at a good reference because relationship with supervisor was toxic. The second stayed but even 10 years later, it is still brought up as a negative thing. Just tell them, you will have to in a month or less anyway, |

Why would you not tell them before? I would. Accepting and telling them after the fact seems deceitful and could cause ill will. I'd be furious if a hire did this to me! |
