+2 I hate lugging bottles. Love our soda stream. We use it exclusively for sparkling water -- except the rare occasion we've thrown some white wine in there to make sparkling wine.

Nothing anti-Semitic about opposing an illegal occupation. |
| I order stuff like that with amazon subscribe and save. If you have five or more items a month, you get a 20 percent discount. |
| Save all of the bottles for 30 days, and you'll realize that getting a sodastream is a real favor to the environment. |

I love my Sodastream, but it's not the only option for make-your-own seltzer:

I'm big on Amazon s&s, but it seems ridiculous to ship cases of heavy glass bottles every week. |
| we found the plastic bottles to be insufficiently carbonated from places like costco. Switched to cans--store brand club soda from Giant or Wegman's. |
Illegal occupation!?!?! Most of their employees are Palestinian and like the jobs. Their jobs at soda stream pay much higher wages than most jobs. They're glad to have them. People need to stop making soda stream political. |
This works?? We tried using the soda stream to carbonate ginger water and it exploded everywhere. I would be reluctant to try it with wine. |
| LOOOOOOOVE my Soda Stream. Drinking my second of the day right now! |
| We like to mix the flavors together too for soda. Like diet coke with a little orange soda. The grapefruit is awesome too! |
| Maybe off topic, but where can one buy the 12 can cases of LaCroix here? Target only carries 4 flavors, and I really want Coconut flavor. |
Yes, go slow and it works fine. The sediment in the wine makes it all cloudy at first but it you let it settle then you're good to go with sparkling wine. I've read about people carbonating hard alcohol but I've never done that because you have to fill the entire bottle up to the line and that seems like a lot of alcohol to carbonate at once. But recently I saw soda stream is selling smaller bottles now so maybe I'll try that this summer. Fun! |
| My husband drinks tons of sparkling water and the cheapest way to buy it is to order poland spring cases from Staples. They deliver for free if you buy a certain amount and I always order enough to be able to use at $25 of a $75 purchase - usually means ordering 6 cases. It is cheaper than Costco and tastes as good as perrier or pellegrino in my opinion. |
