Ummm, you are crazy skinny, you do realize that?

+1 I know, right? Had to read that twice

Please help me get to this weight! I am 5'7 and have been trying for months to get from 145 to 135. Any tips appreciated!

I am 155 and 5'9" with a medium frame. I wear a small or medium in most GH stuff. I'm not surprised this poster is having issues fitting her skeletal frame.

I like their clothes and I find them to be sized accurately, but I'm average height, average weight. No one would accuse me of being skeletal!

I've purchased several pieces from them and have not been disappointed.

And, I'm really confused by the earlier comment comparing them to Lane Bryant? I think some people in the fashion forum feel they are not relevant if they are not being vicious or trashing a retail outlet.

I find that their v-necks are cut really low. I end up returning most of what I try from them.

It's just true. The vanity sizing is so crazy at GH that I thought maybe this is a 'big' person store. I am also not a skeleton. I am a 4-6 in Banana Republic which means an 8 at Zara or a Medium at South Moon Under. I am a '2' at the Loft. I am 5.5" and 140lbs. I am large-framed and very athletic, muscular. I don't have a lot of body fat--but I am curvy--smallish waist, larger hips, etc.

Smalls are tents on my at GH. Dresses in a size 4 are huge pup tents. I can't trust anything in the catalog. It's a shame because I'll think something looks cute only to have it arrive and have it look nothing like the catalog. I had to completely stop ordering from them.

For those of you who return stuff to GH: I have a TON because I keep ordering and thinking I'll mail it all back together at once. I had assumed I could use the USPS return lable but there isnt one, only UPS which doesn't work for me.
ANy hints?

I truly do not have a skeletal frame. I'm small boned, especially in the upper body, but have significant hips and curves and have a small belly after 2 kids. I wear a size 6 jean, sometimes 8. A 6/8 should not be an xs.

Why doesn't UPS "work" for you? You set up a pick up
and they come to your house/condo/apt or office.

I bought an embroidered T shirt there in 3 colors. Two were awful on me-one of which was not the same shade as online. I kept one which is very pretty. Considering the high price, I am surprised by the quality. It's fine, but not outstanding. Returning in a PITA. They charge for returns (but not exchanges). Also, it takes them forever to process a return-much longer than any other online store I have dealt with.

I am 5'10, 125 lbs and I find the models mis-represent the clothing in the Garnet Hill catalog, everything I buy there gets sent back because its too tight. Sure I could size up, but my husband thinks I should look like the model, and I am trying to please him.
