| Have you thought about a live in nanny / household manager? You can find a live in for 10 per hr as long as you guarantee full time hrs around 40 per week. She can do light cleaning or heavy cleaning if you find the right one. Cook dinner, do laundry and grocery shop while the child is in school. |

| OP here. Thank you all for the replies. I have two kids entering k in September. I may look into au pair or that $10 per hour live in nanny. I hate scrambling to find child care when the kids are sick or due to the weather (she says as she types from home while her DD is sick). |
