What is odd about the location? |
| In terms of location, kind of tucked away in Santa Clara, which is a pretty nondescript town, and the El Camino Real, which is a major road, runs right through the campus, not a huge deal and most of the campus is away from the road but it always just felt like the campus was just stuck there without any obvious rhyme or reason to the location. |
| Silicon Valley firms are just as likely (probably more likely) to hire grads from San Jose State than from Santa Clara for engineering jobs. Santa Clara is a fine local school, but nothing overly impressive - the campus is pretty, but as a PP said not in a great location. And SJSU is waaaaaay cheaper. |
