This really made me laugh. I haven't done this with her before (she is really an easy cat) but might try a water bottle or air can. The sticky sided tape -- if I try that, how long should it take before I can take it off the sofa? It wouldn't be a good permanent solution. Was the scratching post in the middle of the room a tall one or a flat one? I am not going to declaw the cat. |
NO don't do that. You will not be a good guardian to your cat if you do that. There are other ways. |

Luckily ours have ignored our 2 leather recliners (Eames & Ekornes). They use their scratching posts but have, however, liked the fabric sofa & chairs, so I've basically decided not to buy anymore expensive furniture.
