I agree with this post. It's martyr-like to continue going out of your way to try to connect with people who make it clear they don't care. You're not doing anyone any favors if you tolerate rudeness.

Op here- You are all right. We have decided to stop putting forth effort towards having a relationship. We hope someday they will come to their senses... Until then, it is what it is.
