Lyon Hall has (or had) a pho mussels option that has ramen-style noodles in the broth along with the mussels. It was odd but interesting. You could try something like that if you weren't sure about bread being filling enough.
Or you could do some sort of vegetable au gratin like the Belgian place on New York Ave - I had a terrific cauliflower gratin there with my mussels on my last visit. Damnit, now I'm craving mussels. |
