OK, what does "lemon-flavored Cod Liver Oil" taste like, for reals? Surely not good?! Very curious about this.
I get my omegas from fish oil (Kirkland Signature capsules -- I buy them online -- I think I picked them bc Consumer Reports recommended them for purity and concentrtaion of Good Stuff). I take them at night to avoid fishy burps (ugh). I like to think this keeps me young and gorgeous. ![]() |
This sounds very French, which I've always admired the French women for the way they dress for style, no matter whether they're in a relationship or not, La Perla lingerie is the norm there, I hear. Plus, they don't expect romance and sex to decline for older women. Older women are still seen as very sexy in France - - gotta love that! I do think that by taking pride in your appearance, even if it means having only a dozen nice pieces of clothing that are interchangeable and heavily rotated, helps you exude confidence and attractiveness. |
I'd be careful with that Kirkland stuff. I read an article (can't find it now) about CLO purity, and only a few, Nordic Naturals and Carlson's among them were listed as free of toxins like mercury, PCB's etc. It tastes like lemony oil. No fishy taste whatsoever. Kids take it just fine. Zero complaints. I feel sluggish if I forget to take it. There's also Carlson's Fish Oil, same lemon flavor. I take that in the summer. CLO is supposed to prevent colds. Not sure it works, as I just had one, but whatever.... |
Doesn't CLO have potentially harmful levels of vitamin A, especially if taken daily? I know my OB told me not to take it while pregnant because of the Vitamin A levels... |
Maybe don't take CLO while you are pregnant. I never took it when I was pregnant, but otherwise it's fine. If you drink a bottle of it, you might die of Vit. A poisoning, but a teaspoon a day won't hurt you. |
