what do you guys think of a 2010-2012 used Mercedes E Class Coupe?

I hear a lot of anecdotal stories, but what does Power or CR say about Mercedes vs Lexus?

Try this site for reliability, its issues reported by actual owners. Just for the sake of it, did a compare with Lexus ES which does not have enough data points for 2010-12 models, have to go back to 2007 to find a comparison. From the menu you can choose whichever car you'd like to compare MB to.

A Lexus is more comfortable but a Mercedes is a classic

that is a good site. I'd imagine the ES to be very reliable, as it is a glorified Camry. Camry's are bullet-proof.

Buy a loaded Camry or Avalon. Seriously. I swore off of luxury cars after experiencing expensive maintenance (even regular like tires, oil changes) and gas (premium). Got a loaded toyota and haven't looked back.

I would think you are shallow and into status symbols, possibly insecure. It would redeem you the tiniest bit that it's used.

But you know, I passed by two old blue-haired yentas driving that car this morning. Making me second guess the choice. Maybe I need to only consider the E550.
