| For the PPs who have them, do you think they would be comfortable for an April trip to France & Spain, with a lot of walking? |
| Sorry, but I'm a fashion consultant and you are definitely going to look desperate if you wear these. |
|
I have these and love them to death.
You're definitely not too old. |
| To the fashion consultant: what do you propose as a more suitable style? I want something comfortable but not frumpy. |
|
imo, if you're thin and do not ACT "made up" or "dressed up", then you can wear almost anything!
but i'm from montana, and everyone has boots like these. i love them and don't see it as an age thing. just an in-shape thing. |
|
OMG of course you can wear them! These boots are *from our era* -- signed, a 44 year old.
PS Fashion consultant, how old are you? What type of shoes do you wear? Would love to know. |
Sorry, "fashion consultant" will get you nowhere. |
Haha, we have a fashion consultant amongst us.....is that really a career? LOL! |
Best bet would be ll bean duck boots. Can't go wrong there |
If you have to ask... !! |
| You are fine as long as your shoe size is 8.5 or smaller. On larger feet, they look like industrial boots and should be avoided at any age. Trust me, my feet are size 9.5. I say this with some authority. |

For the record: You aren't too old, and I really like those. But if you're looking for something a little less buckle-y but incredibly comfortable, consider this style:
http://www.thefryecompany.com/womens-boots/view-all/71055/anna-shortie I have them and love them. I have the Veronica tall boots and find these much more comfortable and versatile. |
Those are really cute! OP, look at these! |
Fashion consultancy never required style nor taste. |
| hell no. I am well over 45 and have been wearing them for years. |
