Same here -- nothing I've ever made from scratch is better (sometimes as good, but never better), and I figure why waste the time. As far as "add ins," I've added almond extract. I'd like to try mint favor next time. or mint chips. |
| "Whatever floats your boat brownies" from food.com are as easy as ghirardelli and you know the quality of your ingredients, or the King Arthur flour recipe. It has a few extra steps, but they turn out so well and are the best that I have ever tasted. |
| Slutty brownies!!!!! I love them |
| We love Trader Joe's brownie mix, the truffle one. SO GOOD. |
Love the Dark Chocolate box mix. |
Just have some vanilla ice cream on hand to cut the sweetness. |
| Sub applesauce or coconut oil it makes them really moist |
| I like Alton Brown's recipe. They are not as chewy as a box mix, but they have the richest chocolate flavor I've had. |

These are fabulous and not too sweet. |
| Smitten Kitchen's Best Cocoa Brownies. The only brownies I ever make. Much better with King Arthur dark cocoa powder. |
This is my favorite recipe, too! People always go nuts for these, and they are surprisingly easy. |
These are awesome. And easy! |
