Hope community PCS - do they host church services on Sundays?

Anonymous
Lots of public schools rent out their space. If they discriminated against religion and did not allow churches to rent, that would be unconstitutional. Not the other way around.

Now I just want to see the money trail on all these community uses. Do the kids benefit?

I think OP made it clear that he/she was looking at it from a financial perspective. Is this a way for schools to make money and thus get more resources to teachers, kids, etc. OP was not aware that DCPS can and does do this.

19:01 there has been a big sign st the bottom of the Stokes hill with the name of a church on Sunday morning and Stokes lots were full.

I have no problem with it.

Hope is a charter so the money goes directly to the school. If a DCPS were to rent out the money would go to central office. The schools don't own the property, that's the way it ought to be.
