| Lots of public schools rent out their space. If they discriminated against religion and did not allow churches to rent, that would be unconstitutional. Not the other way around. |

I think OP made it clear that he/she was looking at it from a financial perspective. Is this a way for schools to make money and thus get more resources to teachers, kids, etc. OP was not aware that DCPS can and does do this. |

Hope is a charter so the money goes directly to the school. If a DCPS were to rent out the money would go to central office. The schools don't own the property, that's the way it ought to be. |
