Oh, I don't know this for a fact. Just speculating. Seems to be the trend in this area.

I guess I can understand because it's a very small house and the new owner needs more space, but it's so lovely and fits perfectly on the street. Oh well. Another one bites the dust. Maybe. If it's even the same house.

OP, hope you find a place that works for you - this one or something else.

I would also ask yourself if you really want to have to move out and have to look for another place in a year if the owner plans on either moving in or tearing down.
