| I've read the D part is what works for adhd. |
|
All antihistamines hamper (or deny) orgasm. Histamine actually facilitates orgasm. (Fun fact lol) To the pregnant poster, ClaritinD not ok in pg or bresstfeeding, & it will dry up your breastmilk. Claritin D also gives me what I call a quiet and organized mind. Perhaps I'll look into pseudophedrine alone. Btw, my two youngest boys, who are ALL over the place, make straight A's and don't get into trouble, using an all-natural product called 'On Task'. I have no ties to the company, hust a huge fan who can vouch for its effectiveness.
Look into it! |
First - please see a psychiatrist who specializes in ADHD for a workup and proper dx. I have 2 kids with ADHD and there are many different meds with different mechanisms of action, side effects, efficacy etc. Second, check out http://www.chadd.org/ they are a great organization and are a wonderful resource for adults adults and children with ADHD and their families. You can learn more about ADHD, co-morbidities, strategies and coping skills as well as learning about the importance of self-care (nutrition, diet, exercise, sleep) and how ADHD affects the entire family. PLEASE do not self-medicate. Just because you can buy stimulants OTC doesn't mean they are safe or effective in treating your symptoms. There are tons of resources out there to help. Good luck. |
| I'll have to look up the abuteral posts. Am going to add, I'm without ADD but have asthma. I only use my abuteral inhaler before flight take-off to relax me. It definitely calms me. |
| I also have lots of adhd symptoms (more lack of focus related) and taking claritin-d has a huge effect on my ability to concentrate and stay on task. I've always said this. Like clockwork. May be worth inquiring with a Dr. about. |
