Benedict Cumberbatch won the UK National TV Award tonight for best detective. He was up against some formidable competition with David Tennant from Broadchurch.

The bomb had an off switch?!?!? Lame ending. The gag with Molly's fiance was a nice bit, but overall I found the episode a little flat. Love the show, but that wasn't the writers' A game.

Love the sibling rivalry between him and Mycroft. Loved the dumpling parents. How did those two produce the brilliant brothers?

I read that that was Mr. and Mrs. Cumberbatch!

I'll answer my own question... The full episode is still up on the PBS website. (I think it said til March 4, but I didn't look carefully.)

And the woman who played Watson's fiancee was the actor's actual wife.

PP If you miss Sunday's episode, it is replayed on Wednesday night at 10 on WETA UK. I saw it last night-- really, really good episode.

Really? If so, that's pretty great too.

Finally watched all three seasons -- what a great show! The first season was the worst, but seasons 2 and 3 were fantastic. I wish they'd make more than 3 episodes per season, though. So well written, hilarious, thrilling, touching, all in the same show.

All the episodes are available online, either through Amazon, Netflix, or pbs.org.
