MSCPS Schools Close Early, Idiot administrators screwed this one up badly

FCPS two hour delay. I guess MCPS don't give a hoot about the health or well being of the children. I think it has to do with the high amount of kids dependent on free lunches and needing to be watched so the parents can work jobs that don't have the ability to telework or take time off.

Well they still serve free lunches with a two hour delay and all the FCPS are complaining that they have a delay. I think it has to do with the high schools operating on the semester system. Classes end tomorrow. Totally new classes start after exams.

Are you people live in Fairfax county? Because I don't recognize any of those attitude being present on other parents at MCPS. Oh, maybe because we are bunch of poor people and we are surrounded by illegal immigrants. I am glad my kids goes to MCPS, where they learn how to respect people regardless!

Do you know of any Montgomery County students who froze to death, were injured, were found frozen into statues, or were taken seriously ill because of sensible decision to keep schools open?

I'm not happy about the fact that my kids high school, Winston Churchill, had spend 15 minutes outside today without coats, hats or gloves because the fire alarm went off after a pipe burst (or some other weird reason but not fire). The kids had to go outside immediately and wait for the fire department to send trucks and establish that there wasn't an actual fire before they could go back in. My daughter, who was in PE at the time and was only wearing shorts and t-shirt, came home with a splitting headache.
And the nerve to make the big pronouncement at 5pm last night that they were definitely having school when they wait until 5am to call school off is super aggravating.

Respect those that break federal law, increase our taxes to supplement them, increase our student/teacher ratios and lower our test scores? It isn't just Fairfax that dislikes them. But that is another discussion for another time.
