"You are adorable"

I always thought telling a woman she's adorable is a nice way of saying she's cute but she's a moron.

OP here. I like it! Should I say something naughtier though?

Depends on the context. If you are flirting via text, you can kick it up a notch.

"I'm adorable?? Tell me juuust how adorable I am???" with a wink added (the multiple question marks are good)

Then after he responds...."Tell me specifically what part of me you adore?"

Do not do this. Unless you are 14.

LOL!!!

Lol that is what I thought too. Especially after they say something dumb or flaky then the response is "oh you're so adorable". Regardless, I wouldn't have taken it as a compliment!

I just think it's weird that the guy keeps telling you what you are like.
There is a huge difference between "I adore you" and "you are adorable."
The latter does not seem respectful.

Awww, thanks. You're so sweet.

My brother tells me I'm adorable when I do something he finds particularly girly, like getting tipsy after a drink and a half.

I think you should be annoyed only if he says "You are adorable! Yes, you are" like people say when they see little babies.
