1 cup liquid (almond milk, cows milk, oj, or coconut water)
3/4 cup frozen fruit
Add ins (raw spinach or kale (handful), tablespoon of sun butter or almond butter, handful of oats or coconut flakes).

Yummy combos:
--Frozen banana, almond milk, cacao powder, almond butter
--Almond milk, frozen blueberries, kale
--Coconut water, frozen pineapple, frozen banana, handful of coconut
--frozen strawberries, frozen banana, milk, spinach, sunbutter
--frozen banana, almond milk, cacao powder, oats, walnuts

This is pretty much me as well (minus the peanut butter)! I got a Magic Bullet for Christmas and I am LOVING IT!
When I am organized, I pack it at night and make the smoothie in the morning. I love using the almond milk.
I add raw oats and flax oil as well(at least those are my add ons this week).
Next week I am going to try a carrot and ginger mix. It is the easiest thing in the world and I love that I am getting my veggies in so easily.

NP here. These sound really good. Can you taste the spinach or the kale? Does it matter what kind of cacao powder you use? (I've never used it) Thanks!

Where do you get your cacao powder?
To pp -- I use kale and spinach and no you cannot taste them in the way that you mean. It all tastes like fruit to me...

for the interested, but ignorant (like me)...

what is the benefit of these smoothies?

Frozen mangos from Trader Joe's
One banana
Water
Powder from on the go drink mix of choice
Blend and yum!

No points for you weight watchers folks

Switch up the frozen fruit for more variety. I also like using frozen cherries from Giant. The banana makes it nice and smooth but can be excluded.

I like to use 1 cup of either coconut milk or cow milk. Coconut milk from a carton - 30 can per serving - not from a can.

Then 1 frozen fruit and one fresh.

Frozen strawberries + ripe banana + cow milk
Frozen peaches + fresh pear + almond milk
Frozen mango + fresh pineapple + coconut milk

That is also where I get my frozen fruit.

I think I will be making a TJ run this weekend.
