One friend sends her daughter to Montessori Children's Center on rt 50 and she has been very pleased with the instruction, plus it didn't have a wait list this past summer.

Another friend sent her son to Kaye Kids in FC center several years ago and she was pleased with the care and price.

I sent my son to Fun and Friends last year as an infant/toddler. Even though it's received mixed reviews on this forum, my son was very happy there and loved his teachers (not sure how the older kid programs stack up). I pulled him out because my work location changed and the traffic in that area because horrible in the evenings.

I checked, looks like it is christian based, we are not Christians. Thank you!

OP, Columbia Baptist is not that Christian. We got in there, and neither my (basically atheist/agnostic) ex nor I (VERY agnostic/C&E) had an issue with the amount of religion that goes into schooling there. My friends who have had their kids there have said the amount of religion didn't bother them either. I think you would need to have your application in this month for preschool this fall, though they may have some rolling spots.

We used to use Carousel Child Development Center in Annandale. (just South of Dunn Loring.) We loved it. Rents space from a church but is not religious. We now use Ballston Children's Center. Also rents space from a church but is not religious.

People seem to like Little Ambassadors. It's pretty new.

My son currently attends Carousel and LOVES it there (teachers are all very caring and have been there a long time). But there is a long wait list, at least a year I think.

ughhhhh. Called all of these places and nothing seems to be available in my price range. I only need care till Sept since DC is entering Kindergarten so waitlists are not an option

My son attends Mclean Children's Academy and we love it. They may have openings. Despite the reviews you may read on here we are VERY VERY happy with this school and highly recommend. He has been attending full time for two years now. He is 4.

For MCA should have mentioned - hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.

I think it is out of your price range but take a quick look at Meritt Academy and Appletree (I or II)
