OP, you sound young, so forgive me if you're not and this sounds patronizing. But my advice is to remember and emulate the way your boss treated you, including at the end. This speaks well of him and the company you're leaving.

I'm 30. Is that young? and yes I will treat him and the company well which is why i gave 3 weeks of notice even though i did not have to and i plan to help till the end
