I would just like to know if something happens. Like in pre school her teacher calls me, even though not so serious.
When a class mate threw sand on her face and got in her eye..

A bump in the head with a blue bruise, i would like to know.

Maybe when she was checked out, the bump and bruise had not yet shown up. Or, maybe she didn't tell anyone after she bumped her head. One thing you have to realize is that once kids hit ES, there is far less supervision than in preschool. So, unless she tells someone, it's not likely that someone will notice she hurt herself.

At my MCPS, our nurse (not a nurse really, a health tech, I think?) calls for almost anything. Just to let us know. And, any remote possibility of a head injury - they send home a letter about signs of concussions!

Maybe over the top, but I appreciate it.

I think it's fine to call and ask.

Why don't you go to recess with your child from now on?

LMFAO!
