I gave my DH a book of home made "coupons" (for a massage, for going with him to a guy-movie, for a day where he gets a pass on (fill in the baby-work or chore he has to do), stuff like that.
If you've got a room, like a basement room, that you can change around (or one that's already set up) you could get some beer and pretzels and the TV ready and his friend over and let them watch whatever sports game they like, and you could bring in sausages and sauerkraut and other guy-food that's easy to make. |

We don't give a lot of gifts, usually just one or two nice things. My husband likes to get nicer versions of things he uses--like a nicer bottle of Scotch than he would buy for himself, or coffee, or shaving cream, etc. |
