Ara makes several waterproof walking boots, thermal line, waterproof microfiber in black or chocolate |
No helpful suggestions OP, sorry -- I just can't believe no one has made a Nancy Sinatra joke yet! ![]() |
I walk everywhere in my La Canadienne Blanche boots. I have other La Canadienne, but the Blanche are the best for walking in all kinds of weather. I also have a comfortable pair from Timberland, but I think they're discontinued. |
I'm the PP who suggested Born riding boots. They're comfortable, but I found out today that they don't handle water very well. |
Ecco! Absolutely, travel all over for work- theses have gone miles and miles in a day. Love love them. |

I like my La Canadienne and Aquatalia boots. Can walk around NYC all day in winter. Both are waterproof. |
Just bought a beautiful pair of black leather Keens. |
I have a pair similar to these. Nice enough to wear to work in bad weather, but super comfortable for walking and water-proof.
