| 100% - Nicole |
| I like Nicola. |
| Nicole, but really I think you should save it if you're planning a second baby. |
I knew a Nichelle born in 1970. One of the first successful black actresses on TV, Nichelle Nichols, played Lt. Uhura on Star Trek, but it was her stage name. She may have made it up but it's a real name now. |
| After reading this thread I just saw a Slovenian artist on tv named Nika. Never seen this name before but I like. |

Nico would be a cool name for a girl. Otherwise I vote for Nicola or Nicoletta. I agree with PP who said Nicolette is too much like Nicorette. Don't do Nichelle because she will spend her whole life explaining that it's not Michelle.
Let us know what you decide, OP! |
| Back to the Eastern Orthodox theme, St. Nico is the female saint who converted Georgia to Christianity. Very popular name among Georgians. Georgia the country not the state. |
This. Or Nicole. |
| Really don't like Nichelle. |
| Love Nichelle Nichols. |
| I think Nicole is the closest - but don't really love it, either. Natalie means born at Christmas, so if you're working off the association with Christmas you could go that route. |
| Nicole is the best one. I don't know why you're thinking of the others. Nicole is a real name, used here. Don't use a boy's name, please. |
| I like Nicole, or Nicholas as a middle name. |
| I prefer Nicole. |
