I think I threw up a little in the back of my throat

Because you just gorged on Pizza Hut?

Please. Pizza Hut is just fine in a pinch.

Uh no. Just no. It's yuck

+1 Costco has awesome pizza.

If not Costco, then I'd choose Mama Lucia or Matchbox.

I used to have cheesy pizza cravings, and realized it was the melty mozzarella I craved more than the dough etc. But I try to keep carbs down.

I discovered that you can get the melty cheesy flavor experience by unwrapping a string cheese and putting it in the microwave for around 10 seconds, depending on your microwave.

I literally threw up the last time I ate it. Eyeroll person: If its good for you, great. But don't act like this is a "other posters are being pretentious" thing.

Ooh- we have a Mamma Lucia's near us and I've never tried it. Pizza is one of my pregnancy cravings this time around too. All I want to eat is bread and cheese in any configuration.

Italian Pizza Kitchen on Connecticut and Albermarle has the BEST cheese pizza I've ever had (there's a new one closer to downtown - maybe Cleveland Park? - but I've never been there).

It's insanely cheesey, straight-up, unpretentious, cheesey-cheese, mild-tasting cheese cheesy. And they have Pellegrino soda.

OMG.

If you are anywhere near potomac go to TallyHo and also Vince and Dominic's.

Better still, broil it till it's spotted brown and crunchy in a few spots. Heaven.

I heard great things about Vince & Dominic's and tried it out a couple of weeks ago. Horrible. So bready. Maybe the thin crust is better?

Good Lord, stay the hell out of Vince & Dominic's. It's gross. It has a vocal and sentimental following among people who went there in high school, but it's truly awful pizza. (Kind of like if you spread tomato sauce and cheese on the bottom of the box and cut that into slices. And the cheese isn't that good.)

If your ordering from a well recognized chain, hands down pick Papa Johns. Pizza Hut and Dominoes taste disgusting.
