Ex videotaped us having sex without my permission

Get a a lawyer and then let the lawyer communicate with your ex. I hope you make him pay for what he did, preferably with the large fine that 15:19 posted. Filming someone during sex is one of the worst violations of trust.

LOL why is your friend looking at hidden camera porn. Was this a one night stand or long term?

Are u a troll? B/c this stuff is all over the news ...revenge porn!

Revenge porn — when jilted lovers post explicit photos of their exes online to get back at them — is a particularly nasty betrayal. Pictures taken in the heat of a relationship suddenly become weapons that can be used to destroy reputations, to humiliate and cause emotional trauma. Even more disgusting are the websites that trade in these illicit shots and are actively complicit in attempting to destroy lives.

GTFOH this is illegal in most of the country. She should contact a civil tort focused lawyer and the police.

How do you know it was advertised as "hidden camera?" More importantly, he sounds like a good friend who chose to handle a very, very awkward situation instead of ignoring it.

Revenge porn is illegal and you definitely have a lawsuit on your hands. You can google it and find lots of information but here's a link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2013/10/30/anti-revenge-porn-group-focusing-on-state-bans-for-now/

There was a Cosmo article about it last month. Good luck! The Women Who Want to Make Revenge Porn IllegalBetrayed and bullied by bitter exes, they're fighting for a national ban on revenge porn. http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/advice/revenge-porn-shutting-it-down

But I wonder how laws can really be created for these situations. It's one thing to have a hidden camera in a store bathroom or whatever because clearly the subject is not consenting. But in revenge porn situations, how do you prove that you did not consent to making the video at that time? It's just your word against his. And if it's made assuming that both parties consented, isn't is a freedom of speech thing that protects the person posting the video all over the place?
