If you are wearing black pumps everyday you need more than one pair, shoes even high end brands are not made to stand up to that kind if wear and tear. But two pairs of cole hanns or the like and call it a day.
I have 5 pairs of CLs but they are all special occasion shoes not work wear. |
| I find CLs to be very uncomfortable. I prefer Prada for work. And I think you need more pairs and a good cobbler. |
| ... And you need to wonder if dcum is mostly upper middle. I have never even been in a store that sells these! |
I think you forgot a few digits. |
| Anyone try church's English shoes? |
| I think CLs are uncomfortable, I feel like they're made for people with very narrow feet. |
Agree. I drive to work and only walk for less than 100 steps between house and car, or car and office... Every pair of my heels are still nicked in less than 3 months. |
+1 one woman wore them to our office and my first reaction wasn't "wow, beautiful shoes' it was 'you're trying too hard," |
My ferragamos are rock sold and about 7 years old. I have 4 pair and wear them to work every day. |
No, that is what the OP said in her post--$100-$200 every 12 months |
Agree completely. I have multiple pairs of CLs, Jimmy Choos, Gucci, Prada, Tods, Ferragamo, Fratelli Rossetti, Bottega Veneta, etc. For work, my go-to shoes are Ferragamo, Tod's and Fratelli Rossetti. (The CLs and Jimmy Choos are for the occasional evening/cocktail party.) |
| I have a few CLs but I think the red sole is getting dated. I generally will buy Stuart Weitzman shoes now when I want high quality without the conspicuous label. |
| I love mine, but I don't wear them to work. |
