Is it impossible to switch career directions at this point?

Op here. Thanks for the reply. I actually used to work in events as well and liked it but I also have a young child and the schedule isn't so conducive. What is project management?

not all PR jobs are heavy on media pitching. some are more like writing roles, some are more event-centric, some are paper pushing. find a PR role that doesn't have high media expectations, and you might like it better and it won't be as drastic of a switch.

Thanks pp. I guess I could look more into those type of jobs. My job was actually supposed to be not so heavy media pitching - but if turned out that that's what they really wanted
