My cell phone (iphone with unlimited text, enough talk I never run over and unlimited data) is $32 a month for each DH and I. We have AT&T and are on a family plan with my parents, but only pay the add on cost. The main carrier is only $80 though. |
| We pay $50 for Internet. No cable, but $8 for Netflix. We have 4 lines (all smartphone) on a Ting plan. Bill averages $60/mo. |
| We pay $102/mo for cable & internet (no landline) through Verizon, but we went without cable for a long time and I'm thinking of canceling again. We pay $180/mo for three cell phones with data - which is unreal (husband, me and daughter). I'm not sure what the hell we were thinking on that. It's a bit out of control. |
VirginMobile BeyondTalk basic. You can also get the same for $45/month with 1200 min talk and $55/month with unlimited talk. Virgin Mobile is a wholy-owned subsidiary for Sprint. I was on Sprint for 20 years and it's the same network. I went from a no-frills, no msg, no data 200 min anytime and unlimited eve/weekends package for $30/month to full data/msg and 300 min talk for $35/month and it's been fantastic. I've gotten so much use out of my new phone, with a better camera, automatically uploads my photos to my dropbox account, can check my email, google maps, GPS, yada yada. |
