Just don't like ANY names this time around....

and I thought I was weird because I'm not focusing on the name issue yet. The thought
of plowing through name books and name websites sounds boring to me, and I think it will
just make me more confused than ever. Alas, I always wanted to name a girl Sophia but
now that it's in the top ten of the most popular names, the name has lost some of its appeal!
Hopefully something will just occur to us as we get later in the pregnancy.....

It does seem like every other little girl we meet at the park, younger siblings of my son's schoolmates, etc., is named Sophia or Sophie.

nameberry.com has some absolutely hilarious name lists. Also, if you want a really good laugh, Not Without My Handbag has a baby names page called "Baby's Named a Bad, Bad Thing." It gave me faith that no matter what we name our kid, there will be more ridiculous names out there.
