There really are no good pizza places around here. The ones mentioned are decent, but I'd give anything for a cheap, authentic New York style pie. Not gonna happen in DC.

The closest is Flippin' Pizza. Not the same, but decent.

I like Shanghai Village too, but Golden Temple (the old hot shoppe on Wisconsin) is pretty good too-- try their crunch crispy beef.

For Pizza, Corner Slice or Pizza Tempo if you traditional, somewhat greasy pizza, Haven or Mia's if you want expensive/artisanal, and Vace is best overall (IMO).
