A tall one has 75 mg. It's mosty milk (and flavors) with a little coffee. I am 27 weeks and I drink some occasionally.

A latte is espresso and steamed/foamed milk. You can get decaf espresso with the milk. Probably has some residual caffeine but not much.

About this I was not shocked.

What did surprise me though, is that chai lattes are made using a chai syrup, not brewed tea. You're brewing a gazillion things in there, you can't brew me some fresh chai?

You might be looking for a "Dirty Chai", which is brewed chai tea with a shot of espresso.

I love those pumpkin spice lattes - soooo freakin' good. I don't care if they don't have pumpkin in them, I really don't.

Who wants to drink pureed pumpkin anyway. That's actually kind of a gross thought.

So true. I think that people like to taste the pumpkin pie type spices in their lattes, not actual pureed pumpkin (gross).

Yes, I was disappointed when I found out about that as well. A friend who used to work there told me when I could not figure out how to make a chai latte at home taste as good as it does at SB.

They use Tazo brand syrup -- you can buy it at Safeway if you want to make your own at home.
