Where can I buy cow 's tongue already cleaned and sliced?

I'm pretty sure you could find it at Eastern Market.

However....GROSS.

If that bothers you, here are some other foods you might want to avoid:

Eggs
Pork
Tilapia
Catfish
Natural casing sausages or hot dogs
Blue cheese

I do avoid those foods - disgusting. Who would eat cow's tongues??? That's like eating pig's feet. I am now off to the bathroom to vomit.

Pig feet are the BOMB!!!

Not the poster who said they eat it weekly, but we eat it too. I am from another country, and my husband is an american. I served it once without saying what it was; he loves it and eats it now with a great pleasure. And we like pig's feet too.
I usually order them in Wegmans. Cook the same way as beef broth, with onion, herbs, bay leaf, but much longer (> 3 hrs). As soon as skin peels off easily it is ready. The most tender meat you can imagine, melts in your mouth, and is very good with horseradish sause.
Eating most foods from McDonald's and places like is more gross than eating tongue (I know this is not a popular opinion here ), but that's just me.
