Looking for cabins in the mountains

Anonymous
In Lost River area, we found a cabin through VBRO.com. Also try HomeAway. The state park has cabins to rent.

3 hours = Wintergreen. Blue Ridge Mtns. You can go as rustic as you like. The Appalachian Trail runs right next to it if your want arduous hiking. Fly fishing is taught but you will have to drive to it. Tennis. Golf. Swimming, in pool or lake.

No need to bash the mountains around here. Go live there then. Oh - forgot - the job situation sucks down there? Maybe you should crawl out of your hole again and check out some of the absolute natural beauty within an hour and half drive from here.

True about the job market. No cushy fed jobs with tenure nd pensions there. Many people work very hard there for very little.

Anyone used Flip Key by Trip Advisor to book a cabin?

We have used flip key as a source of rentals at the beach and have found the reviews to be pretty accurate. Trip Advisor is one of the few sources of reviews where you have to be registered and they review the reviewers. We have found it far more reliable than yelp and other review sites which tend to have a lot of phony reviews.
