I think the whole gov eval system needs to be redone. It's a ridiculous evaluation without measurable goals. And there's no reverse evaluation on your manager. When I was in private sector we got to put in evaluations of our managers, which were taken into consideration.

Completely agree. Once the policy at my dept was no more awards, my evaluation went up a bit. No bonuses or awards, even time off awards. This is he it'll be for a while, so I personally don't care about my evaluation and just do my job. I don't even listen at my eval meeting. The whole process is a waste of time and energy.
